DESK BUILD

The custom smart desk marks the true beginning of the Origami Tech channel. Building it was a two-month hands-on process of sourcing individual components and learning the basics of fabrication. While the timeline was extended by trial and error, the entire DIY process was an incredibly rewarding experience that laid the groundwork for future hardware projects.

The build consists of a sturdy iron base frame supporting a clean white wooden top. It features two spacious drawers with integrated LED lighting and a built-in wireless charging system. To keep the workspace minimalist, all electronics and power bricks are routed through a dedicated wire management channel in the back, ensuring the front-facing PC setup remains completely clutter-free.

Today, this desk serves as the daily driver for all creative work. Every YouTube video is edited here, and this very website was developed on it. Fittingly, a complete walkthrough of this build was the subject of the channel's very first video—the foundational idea that successfully launched Origami Tech.
